The Preschool Ministry of Hilldale Baptist Church exists to provide a secure, nurturing environment for preschoolers where Biblical truths are taught as a foundation for salvation and Christian living.
Our activity based approach to teaching preschoolers is grounded in our belief that even the youngest children can learn Biblical truths. Developmentally appropriate activities utilize the active involvement and guidance of Christian teachers. Learning Centers provide the base for activities that teach our nine Biblical Concept Areas: God, Jesus, the Bible, God’s Creation, Church, Self, Family, Community and World. Bro. Tim Muñoz leads our Preschool and Children’s Department.
CHILDREN - Kindergarten through 5th Grade
Children are important people at Hilldale Baptist Church. We consider the learning, growing, developing and maturing that is taking place to be crucial steps in the lives of our children. Our teachers realize the importance of these formative years and their experiences determine the kind of person your child will become. We want our children to become all that God intended them to be.
Our Goal is to meet the physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual needs of your child on their own level. Our L.I.F.E. Groups are divided by grade level in which quality Bible Study is provided every week.
Special programs include: L.I.F.E. Groups, WOW Worship, Centri-Kid Camp, Mission Organizations, Vacation Bible School, Summer Activities and Parenting Seminars.
CHARA (Homeschool Support Group) CHARA is a ministry whose purpose is to encourage and equip families in their homeschooling journey as they endeavor to disciple their children for the glory of God. Families who do not attend Hilldale are welcome! http://www.orgsites.com/tn/chara/
M.O.P.S. M.O.P.S. is a ministry for Mothers Of Preschoolers. Moms of children from birth thru Kindergarten age meet twice a month to enjoy a warm breakfast, encouraging conversation, informative speakers, and time to relate to & support other moms in the same stage of parenting as you! Your child will be lovingly cared for in our MOPPETS program while you enjoy the meeting. We meet from 9:30am-11:30am usually on the 1st & 3rd Fridays of each month.
