Hilldale Baptist Church

At Hilldale we recently opened a new state-of-the-art Preschool facility. The facility was designed with safety and security as top priority. Parents are issued security beepers that allow paging them with a variety of messages anywhere on the church campus. A separate Preschool Security alarm protects all exits from the facility. All workers are screened and background checks are required. Preschoolers are taught Biblical principles on their level in a loving caring environment.

The renovation of the Children’s Wing at Hilldale is complete and is designed like a neighborhood with city streets, shops, church and a zoo. Children are taught on their level that Biblical principles apply out in the world where they live, not just at church. Children’s workers undergo the same security screening as Preschool workers. Children are also afforded the opportunity to learn music, singing and Mission Groups on Wednesday nights. On Sunday evenings ages 4 years through 5th Grades can participate in AWANA.

Hilldale has an exciting Student Ministry that strives to help students apply Biblical principles in the challenging world they face. Students have relevant Bible Study and Praise & Worship that leads them to connect with God on a real level. Opportunities provided for student activities include Camps, Seminars, Retreats, Mission Projects and Recreation. Teachers and Leaders also undergo background checks to ensure students learn in a safe and caring environment. Bro. Tony Lewis, Student Pastor, and Lesley Burdine, his Ministry Assistant work together to help teenagers connect with God and their world.

The College Ministry at Hilldale helps College Students transition into Life through relevant Bible Study and seminar & retreat opportunities. Local students and those away at school are cared for in an atmosphere of open dialogue and spiritual relevance. The church provides the AW House as a place where college students can interact in a safe positive environment.

Hilldale has an active Single Adult Ministry that addresses the needs of singles in all stages of their lives, young singles, just out of school, through the oldest single person. The Ministry uses relevant Bible Study, seminars, conferences and retreats to address issues such as Relationships, Marriage Preparation, Grief Recovery, Divorce Recovery, Single Parenting and more. is the primary divorce recovery tool we use to minister to those who are recovering from divorce. This study will take you through the gamut of emotions and experiences of a divorce, i.e. anger, loneliness, raising kids, etc. and help you learn how much God loves you and will help you through this time in your life. Hilldale’s Married Adult Ministry is as varied as the families we serve. L.I.F.E. Groups are provided for the youngest of couples to the most Senior Citizens. Our goal is to provide a Bible Study and Worship atmosphere which introduces people to the reality of Jesus Christ and grows Christians into fully devoted followers of Him. Our Sunday night Life University provides growth opportunities for all ages and is instrumental in moving people from membership into Ministry and Service. More Information: Young Married Adults

MISSIONS

“Twenty Five in Five”. Hilldale is totally committed to missions- locally, nationally, and abroad. Our goal is in five years to have 25 mission projects per year.

J.O.Y. (Just Older Youth) Group (Senior Adults)
Hilldale’s J.O.Y. Group ministers in the lives of Senior Citizens, regardless of status. The J.O.Y. Group is active in ministry to nursing homes and those who are home-bound. Fellowship and Retreat opportunities fill the need for Seniors to connect with God and each other. The J.O.Y. Group is led by Bro. Terry Brown, our Church Health Pastor.

Where lives connect with other women! Relationship and connection with God and one another is something all women desire and the “One Accord” women’s ministry seeks to provide just that!

Through Bible Studies, mission projects, retreats, conferences, monthly “Gatherings” and much more the women of Hilldale minister to one another from the overflow of what God has done in our own lives. We invite you to come and be a part of what God is doing among us. All ages and stages of life are welcome!

The Men’s Ministry at Hilldale meets the spiritual growth and fellowship needs of men in all stages of life. Through seminars, retreats and mission events men are encouraged to connect with God and each other in a way that grows them spiritually and as leaders in their homes. Growing “men of integrity” is a major goal of this ministry. Bro. Terry Brown leads our Men’s Ministry.

The Music Ministry at Hilldale provides music education and worship involvement for all, preschool through the oldest adults. Choirs are provided for ages 4 and older. The worship style at Hilldale features a live orchestra and is a variety of traditional, contemporary and video projection system. The overall mission of the Music Ministry is to provide an atmosphere where people can worship the Lord in a real way that connects them with Him and grows them spiritually.
