God called Mike to the ministry in May 2000 while serving as a Network Manager with BellSouth. He had been with BellSouth since 1973 where he had been named Manager of the Year in1998. He was saved in 1958 and has been active in his church ever since through teaching and deacon ministry.

Mike served as Facilities Manager, Minister of Young Adults, and Administrator at Trinity Baptist Church in Southaven, Mississippi which is the second largest Southern Baptist Church in Mississippi.
