Student/Recreation Pastor

Tony was born in Nashville on September 28, 1964. He became a believer at the age of nine and surrendered to God’s call into ministry at the age of fifteen. Tony met Tammy Coats at college, and they married in August 1986. They have one daughter, Tia, who was born in July 1991.

Since he was nineteen years old, Tony has served churches in Tennessee, Louisiana, and Texas as Minister of Students and Recreation. He began serving Hilldale in May 2001. He leads our Student (grades 6-12), College, and Recreation ministries.

Tony graduated from Louisiana College in Pineville, Louisiana in 1987 with a B.A. degree. He went on to receive his Master of Arts in Religious Education (M.A.R.E.) degree from the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas in 1991.

Tony loves sports, sports, and more sports. He dreams of becoming an ESPN sportscaster someday…just kidding.
